The Administrative Board of Directors serves as the governing body responsible for overseeing the non-operational, business-related aspects of the department. This board plays a crucial role in ensuring the department runs efficiently, remains financially sound, and upholds its mission to serve and protect the community. The fire and rescue service is a paramilitary organization. Because of the hazards and chaotic environment we face when responding to calls, we must adhere to the orders given to us by company-level officers as well as chief officers.
